Hygiene facilities in this scheme.  A safe and secure structured guide has been developed, including appropriate curriculum development, teaching activities, pedagogical practices and assessment of teachers' professional development and community participation and engagement.  


The scheme emphasizes curriculum development, guidance and support by school teachers and educators to enhance the capacity of Anganwadi workers, coordination and integration with the Ministry of Women and Child Development to enhance teaching materials.  


Emphasis has been placed on strengthening preschools.  Three lakh rupees per school is given to the State and Union Territories for strengthening the preschools.  Campaign to inculcate reading habits among students: Library grant under Samagra Shiksha (Read Bharat, Badhe Bharat) Under the newly launched 'Samagra Shiksha Yojana' from 2012, the school has started to complement the activities under 'Read Bharat, Wade Bharat' and develop reading habits in students of all ages.  


Books by providing library grants to government schools to strengthen libraries.  Operations including provision have been undertaken.  The National Achievement Survey 2016 has found that reading books improves children's achievement.  For the first time, provision has been made for a separate annual library grant from primary school to higher secondary school. 


 Provision has been made for library grant of Rs.2000 to Rs.50,000 from primary school to secondary school which is as under.  Till (1) Rs. 5,000 for primary school and Rs.  10000 for each person (2) for a joint primary school (standard 1 to 8) up to Rs. 15000.  • A list of books she has read in the last five years (3) for secondary school (Std. 9 to 10) up to Rs.  ) For Joint Secondary School (Std. 1 to 10) Rs. 15000 worth of books, on the walls.

In the context of 'India, Greater India', library resources have been used to facilitate the reading process with understanding.  The process of reading up to secondary level requires constant study, development and improvement which requires periodic revision of libraries, journals, magazines and other reading materials.
